Scholarships making a difference

22 Jan 2016

FOAG Trustee, Jane Sturdy, recently visited Budaka Rehabilitation Home and it is great to see the impact of FOAG donations helping students. Budaka's role is to improve the quality of life for children with disabilities in Palissa and surrounding districts in a relatively poor agricultural area in Eastern Uganda.

Budaka students Doreen Kalembe and Florence Logose, who have been receiving FOAG scholarships through secondary school since 2008. Florence is now waiting for her A-Level results; if she gets good grades she would like to do an accountancy course. Doreen will be taking her O-Levels in November 2016.
