    FOAG funds the training of three nurses each year at Kiwoko Hospital. Training takes 2.5 years, so typically there are 9 FOAG nurses in training at any one time. This significant contribution to Uganda’s healthcare is something our supporters can be very proud of.

    Kamurasi Primary School is located on the outskirts of Masindi, one of the major urban centres in Western Uganda. It has around 800 pupils with 73 of these children suffering from mental of physical impairments.

    Masindi is a school for around 100 children with a variety of handicaps.. The emphasis is on education and vocational training so that re-integration into family and village life is a real possibility.

  • St. Francis Rehabilitation Centre, Soroti

    St. Francis Rehabilitation Centre, Soroti

    St Francis is home to 65 disabled children who have been located at outreach clinics, in need of corrective surgery due to polio, infections in various joints, mis-directed injections (leaving them paralysed), club feet, hydrocephalus etc.
