"I am very proud to be FOAG’s patron and hope that others will join me in supporting this thoughtful charity. FOAG was founded in 1981 at a time when it made no sense that people in parts of Africa were unable to grow enough food to survive while farmers in the UK were being told to produce less.

FOAG was born to offer support to rural communities in Uganda.  From those beginnings, the charity now supports ten development projects but with two important differences: they operate with the smallest overheads possible placing the money directly into projects without layers in between; and they visit each project to see that each pound makes a difference on the ground."
